We are a close-knit Dojo that focuses on the key teachings of Goju-Ryu. Our training teaches traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate-Do with the goal of personal development, improved focus, technique, self defence, confidence, and fitness to name but a few examples. We do not teach “sport” or “competition” karate, and focus instead on the traditional and kihon (basic) elements as taught at the Jundokan So Honbu Dojo in Naha, Okinawa.

Our training is available for anyone over the age of 7 years. We encourage effort and participation, and strive to teach in a friendly and comfortable environment for everyone.

Come and give Goju-Ryu a go: we are always keen to see new faces in the Dojo!

As with JNZ, we are not for profit. Our training fees are kept as low as we can to encourage continued participation, with any profit returned to the club for the benefit of the students.
